(Ma’aden; Al Jubail, Saudi Arabia) is going ahead with previously announced plans to develop a large phosphate industry in the north of Saudi Arabia at a cost of 26 billion Saudi riyals ($6.9 billion). The company has awarded three contracts valued at $260 million, which will lead to the establishment of the North Promise Industrial Mineral City for Mining Industries, part of the King Abdullah Project.
