Lukoil restarts Kalush petrochemical complex in Ukraine

Karpatneftekhim (Kalush, Ukraine), a subsidiary of Lukoil (Moscow), has restarted production at the Kalush petrochemical complex, Lukoil has announced. The event was marked by the presence of Lukoil’s president, Vagit Alekperov, and Nikolai Azarov, prime minister of Ukraine. Lukoil suspended production at the complex in September 2012 because of unfavorable conditions in the petrochemicals industry.
