World News and Views :: Top of the News Linde to Build Facility for High-Purity Hydrogen to Supply Polysilicon Producer in China1:12 AM MST | November 16, 2010 | Deepti Ramesh Linde says it has signed a new agreement to expand its gas supply deal with GCL-Poly Energy (Hong Kong), the largest producer of highly purified polycrystalline silicon in China. Linde says it will invest €15 million to construct additional production and supply facilities for high-purity hydrogen at the Xuzhou industrial park in China. Linde put two steam reformers into operation earlier this year, and Linde supplies GCL with hydrogen from these reformers by pipeline.
