Lanxess subsidiary expands lightweight plastics production in Germany

Lanxess says that its wholly owned Bond-Laminates (Brilon, Germany) subsidiary is expanding production capacity for Tepex lightweight plastics at the Brilon site by about 75%. The capacity expansion will be completed in summer 2014.The expansion will add a new production hall and supplementary storage areas and office space. Tepex is the name of the fiber composites that Bond-Laminates produces, and the materials are used in the automotive, sporting goods, and electronics industries among others, Lanxess says.
