Lanxess Acquires PTAP Active Ingredient Product Line From Clariant

Lanxess says it has acquired the Nipacide p-tert-amylphenol (PTAP) product line from Clariant effective January 1, 2010. The active ingredient PTAP complements the phenolic active ingredients portfolio of Lanxess’ Material Protection Products (MPP) business unit, Lanxess says.
