Kyowa Hakko Kirin subsidiary to acquire Archimedes Pharma

Kyowa Hakko Kirin’s (KHK; Tokyo) subsidiary ProStrakan Group (Galashiels, UK) has agreed with Novo to purchase the entire share capital of Archimedes Pharma (Reading, UK) for £230 million ($393.8 million) in cash. Archimedes is a fast-growing, Europe-based specialty pharmaceutical company providing novel and advanced treatments within the therapeutic areas of pain, oncology, and critical care.
