Kuraray to Expand Polyvinyl Alcohol Resin Capacity in Germany

Kuraray says its Kuraray Europe (Frankfurt, Germany) subsidiary will invest €58 million ($77 million) to expand its polyvinyl alcohol resin production facility at Frankfurt. The production capacity at the facility will be increased by 24,000 m.t./year, and the expansion is expected to be completed in the first quarter of the fiscal year ending March 31, 2014.
