Koppers closes $29-million crosstie-treating acquisition

Koppers says it has completed the previously announced purchase of the crosstie-treating business and related manufacturing facility of Tolko Industries (Ashcroft, BC). The purchase price was CAD$32.4 million ($29.2 million), subject to post-closing adjustments. The purchase price included an adjustment of working capital of CAD$0.9 million.The purchase has been funded primarily by cash on hand.
