Kemira Appoints Former BASF Executive as New CEO

Kemira has appointed  Wolfgang Büchele as its new president and CEO effective April 1, 2012. He will succeed Harri Kerminen who will retire on that day. Kerminen led Kemira through a major strategic change into a water chemistry company.     Büchele has been a member of Kemira's board of directors since 2009.
