KBR Awarded Contract for Ineos Ethylene Hike at Chocolate Bayou

KBR says it has been awarded a contract by Ineos Olefins & Polymers USA to design and construct an ethylene furnace at Ineos's Chocolate Bayou olefins complex at Alvin, TX. The previously announced project will add 465 million lbs/year of furnace production capacity at the Chocolate Bayou olefins complex, KBR says. It will also "provide the highest achievable ethylene yields in the industry," KBR says.
