World News and Views :: Top of the News Israel Chemicals Signs Potash Deal with Indian Customer6:22 AM MDT | August 7, 2011 | Natasha Alperowicz Israel Chemicals said today that its fertilizer subsidiary ICL Fertilizers entered into an agreement to supply 1 million m.t. of potash to its main customer in India at $490/m.t. The deal covers supplies over a period of eight months beginning in August 2011. ICL Fertilizers has an option to supply additional 100,000 m.t. under the same terms. Its previous contract covered a similar quantity supplied over a period of 1 year at about $370 m.t.
