Israel Chemicals Reports Strong Results; Restructures European Potash Operations

Israel Chemicals Ltd. (ICL; Tel Aviv) today reported its financial results for the fourth quarter and full year ended December 31, 2011. It has also initiated expansion and rationalization of its European potash operations.   Fourth quarter net income rose 51% to $370 million on sales 21% higher at $1.7 billion. Full year net profit rose 48% to $1.5 billion with record revenues of $7.1 billion, an increase of 24% compared with 2010.
