Invista signs second biobased butadiene development deal

Seattle biocatalysis firm Arzeda says it has entered into a collaboration with Invista to develop a biobased route to a butadiene, a key raw material that is increasingly in short supply. Although still in the early stages of development, Invista tells CW it expects to begin commercializing the technology in 2016.
