Innovation is key to German chemical industry growth, study says

Germany's chemical industry, the largest in Europe and the third-largest industrial sector in the country, can look ahead to a bright future, with a potential 40% increase in production by 2030, if its strategy and related political decisions support innovation, according to a recent study by consulting firm Prognos (Berlin), on behalf of German chemical industry association VCI (Frankfurt).
