World News and Views :: Top of the News Ineos licenses PP technology to China Shenhua to be used downstream from MTO complex8:38 AM MST | November 19, 2012 | Natasha Alperowicz Ineos Technologies said today that it has licensed its Innovene polypropylene (PP) technology to a subsidiary of China Shenhua Group (Beijing), China Shenhua Coal to Chemical Xinjiang Coal Chemical, for the manufacture of homopolymers, random copolymers and impact copolymers. The new PP plant will be located at Ürümqi, Uyghur Autonomous Region of Xinjiang, China. The complex will be built downstream from a methanol-to-olefins (MTO) plant and will be designed to produce 450,000 m.t./year of PP. "Ineos Technologies is very proud of...
