Ineos and Accys Technologies sign joint venture agreement to commercialize Tiricoya fiberboard technology

IneosTechnologies and Accsys Technologies (Windsor, UK) said today that they have formed an equally owned joint venture to develop and commercialize Tricoya technology worldwide. The new business will trade under the name of Tricoya Technologies. Accys, as part of the agreement will grant the joint venture exclusive global rights to its proprietary acetylation technology for the production and licensing of Tricoya for use in medium density fibreboard (MDF), particle board and wood plastic composites.
