Ineos Wins Patent Suit Against Sinochem

Ineos Fluor says the U.S. International Trade Commission (ITC) has confirmed its earlier finding that Sinochem  (Beijing) has infringed on Ineos’ patent for the tetrafluoroethane refrigerant R-134a. ITC chief judge Paul Luckern has confirmed his preliminary ruling of late last year, which Ineos says sets the stage for a permanent exclusion order on Sinochem’s R-134a, expected to take effect June 1.
