Ineos May Build Ethylene Oxide Plant on U.S. Gulf Coast

Ineos Oxide, an Ineos subsidiary, says it is considering plans to expand its ethylene oxide (EO) and ethylene oxide derivatives capacity on the U.S. Gulf Coast as part of a larger strategy to grow its global business over the next few years. “The U.S. is an obvious location for Ineos Oxide to consider its next expansion,” says Hans Casier, Ineos Oxide CEO. “It is a market we know well, where Ineos Group already has a well placed manufacturing presence that is capable of taking full advantage of competitively priced feedstocks.” The project...
