World News and Views :: Top of the News Ineos Awarded Its Fourth PP Technology License in China this Year4:24 AM MDT | October 19, 2011 | Ian Young Ineos says it has been awarded a contract to license the company's Innovene polypropylene (PP) technology to Sinopec Maoming Co., a Sinopec subsidiary. The technology will be used in a 200,000-m.t./year PP plant at Sinopec Maoming's complex at Maoming in southern China. The plant will make PP homopolymers, random copolymers, and impact copolymers and is due to start up in 2013. It is the fourth PP technology license signed by Ineos in China this year.
