World News and Views :: Top of the News Indorama May Acquire Eastman’s European PTA and PET Assets1:14 PM MST | December 6, 2007 | CW Editorial Staff Indorama says its has attained exclusivity to acquire Eastman Chemical's European purified terephthalic acid (PTA) and polyethylene terephthalate (PET) assets. The boards of directors at Indorama Holdings, Thailand (IHT) and Indorama Polymers, Thailand (IPT) have given their approval.
