World News and Views :: Top of the News India Courts Qatar for Refining and Petchem Investments7:14 AM MDT | April 17, 2012 | Natasha Alperowicz Indian authorities are seeking to partner with Qatar in some of India’s most prestigious refining and petrochemical projects, to secure long-term supplies of liquefied natural gas (LNG), including supplies to Indian Oil’s planned LNG terminal at Ennore. The offers were made to Qatar’s Emir, Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani during discussions with Jaipal Reddy, India's petroleum and natural gas minister on the Emir’s recent visit to India.
