ISP Adds THF Capacity to Meet U.S. Demand

International Specialty Products (ISP; Waynem, NJ) told CW at the recent fine and specialty chemicals Informex expo in New Orleans that it has started building a new 16,000-m.t./year plant for producing pharmaceutical-grade tetrahydrofuran (THF) at the firm’s site in Marl, Germany.
