IMCD acquires food ingredients distributor in Indonesia

Distributor IMCD Group (Rotterdam) says it has signed an agreement to acquire Alam Subur Tirta Kencana (Jakarta), a leading food ingredients distributor in Indonesia. Financial details of the deal were not disclosed. The acquisition allows IMCD to enter Southeast Asia’s largest economy, the company says. IMCD, under the deal, will also acquire Alam Subur’s affiliate company Sapta Permata (Surabaya, Indonesia).
