Hikal Forms Contract Research Subsidiary

Hikal Ltd. (Mumbai), a Bombay Stock Exchange-quoted company specializing in custom manufacturing for specialty chemical and fine chemical companies, has formed a wholly owned subsidiary, Acoris Research (Pune, India) that will focus entirely on custom research. "Phase one of the construction will house 15 synthetic laboratoires and three analytical laboratories, together with a spectroscopy, safety, and cGMP kilo laboratory," says R.
