World News and Views :: Top of the News Graco Details Commitment to Flame Retardants Ban12:53 PM MDT | July 16, 2012 | Kara Sissell Public health advocates say Graco Children's Products has clarified its policy regarding its ban on certain flame retardants in Graco's car seats and other children's products. The child health advocacy groups Healthy Child Healthy World and the Ecology Center say they have been asking Graco to ban the flame retardants since 2008 when the Ecology Center began testing car seats for its consumer database. The substances Graco will eliminate from its products are: “Tris” chemicals including TDCPP (Tris (1,3-dichloro-2-propyl) phosphate) and TCEP...
