Grace and Executives Acquitted in Asbestos Exposure Case

A jury has found W.R. Grace and four former Grace executives not guilty of knowingly exposing workers to asbestos at the company’s vermiculate mine at Libby, MT. The case dates back to 2005, when EPA filed a law suit alleging that Grace and the executives suppressed internal studies on the potential adverse health effects related to exposure at the mine, which closed in 1992.
