Grace Earnings Increase 29% on Improved Pricing, Sales

W.R. Grace has reported fourth-quarter net income of $58.1 million, up 29% from the year-ago period. Sales increased 19%, to $825.6 million. The increase was due to improved pricing and higher sales volumes, partially offset by unfavorable currency translation, the company says. Full year 2011 sales rose 20.1%, to $3.2 billion.
