World News and Views :: Top of the News Grace Earnings Increase 29% on Improved Pricing, Sales11:16 AM MST | February 1, 2012 | Kara Sissell W.R. Grace has reported fourth-quarter net income of $58.1 million, up 29% from the year-ago period. Sales increased 19%, to $825.6 million. The increase was due to improved pricing and higher sales volumes, partially offset by unfavorable currency translation, the company says. Full year 2011 sales rose 20.1%, to $3.2 billion. For 2012, Grace estimates sales at about $3.25-$3.3 billion. "We have the right exposure to higher-growth emerging regions and we will benefit from the investments that we made during the last 18 months in new products...
