Genencor Rolls Out Sustainable Denim Bleaching Technology

Genencor (Rochester, NY), the enzymes division of Danisco has introduced Primagreen Ecofade LT100, a new enzyme process for denim bleaching and shading for the textiles industry. The new technology enables bleaching at neutral pH and low temperature, providing savings in rinsing water and neutralization chemicals, and savings in energy, the company says.
