World News and Views :: Top of the News Foster Wheeler Awarded Petrochemicals Plant Contract in Egypt6:47 AM MDT | October 19, 2010 | Natasha Alperowicz Foster Wheeler says it has been awarded a project management consultancy (PMC) contract by Carbon Holdings for a petrochemical complex planned at Ain Sokhna, Egypt, with a nameplate capacity for 1.35 million m.t./year of polyethylene (PE). The complex will include three PE plants, each designed for 450,000 m.t./year. Foster Wheeler will provide technical support and consultancy services to Carbon Holdings through financial close, estimated to be late 2011.
