Formosa Chemicals and Fibre Builds Large Phenol Complex in China

Formosa Chemicals and Fibre (Taipei) has awarded an engineering contract to Lummus Technology for a large cumene and phenol complex. The complex will be built at Formosa's major site at Ningbo, China and will be designed to produce 450,000 m.t./year of cumene and 300,000 m.t./year of phenol.
