Fired Dow Executive Sues JPMorgan over Buyout Talks

Former Dow Chemical executive v.p. Romeo Kreinberg has filed a lawsuit against JPMorgan Chase, alleging that the bank deceived Dow by secretly entering into discussions to sell the company and then blamed Kreinberg after chairman and CEO Andrew Liveris found out. Dow fired Kreinberg and former board member J. Pedro Reinhard last April, allegedly after JPMorgan chief executive Jamie Dimon told Liveris that Kreinberg and Reinhard were the sources of the buyout rumors.
