FTC Refuses Monsanto's Petition to Investigate Milk Labeling

The Federal Trade Commission (FTC) has found that dairies that advertise their milk as free of synthetic growth hormones have not violated any federal advertising restrictions, refusing a Monsanto petition that had characterized those dairies’ claims as misleading consumers.
