World News and Views :: Top of the News ExxonMobil to License Technology to Thai Paraxylene10:18 AM MDT | May 11, 2010 | Deepti Ramesh ExxonMobil Chemical Technology Licensing (EMCTL) and ExxonMobil Catalyst Technologies (EMCT) say they have signed an agreement with Thai Paraxylene (TPX), to license ExxonMobil's PxMax technology for TPX’s petrochemical plant at Sriracha, Thailand. TPX is a wholly owned subsidiary of Thai Oil (Bangkok), and produces para-xylene, benzene and toluene. PxMax is ExxonMobil’s technology for selective toluene disproportionation.
