World News and Views :: Top of the News Evonik to Expand PEEK Capacity in China11:38 PM MST | February 24, 2011 | Deepti Ramesh Evonik Industries says it will significantly expand its polyether ether ketone (PEEK) capacity at the company’s site at Changchun, China, in response to growing global demand. The expansion project and the modernization of the plant are expected to be completed by the third quarter of this year. Evonik has been selling its highly temperature-proof and chemical-resistant PEEK polymers under the brand name Vestakeep. Vestakeep PEEK polymers are used in applications in medical industry, as well as in the automotive, aerospace, semiconductor, and entertainment...
