Evonik, Taiyo Nippon Sanso terminate monosilane project in Japan

Evonik and Taiyo Nippon Sanso (TNSC; Tokyo) say that they have terminated their joint monosilanes manufacturing project at Yokkaichi, Japan, effective 30 September 2012, and have already begun closing the plant. Evonik supplied monosilanes to TNSC, under a long-term supply contract.
