Evonik Industries to build polymer dispersants plant in Germany

Evonik Industries is investing in a new polymer dispersants plant at Essen, Germany, the company announced today. The project, which will involve an investment in the “low double-digit million euro range”, will triple capacity for polymer dispersants. The company plans to complete the new plant by the first quarter of 2015.   Polymer dispersants are mainly used in water-based systems in paints and printing inks and in high-solid systems with a low content of solvent.
