European Chemicals Agency launches public consultation on six more substances

The European Chemicals Agency (ECHA; Helsinki) has launched a public consultation on its draft recommendation of six new substances to be included in the authorization list under the European Union's Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation, and Restriction of Chemicals (Reach) legislation. ECHA plans to recommend the following substances, based on an assessment of available information and after initial consultation with its member state committee: N,N-dimethylformamide; diazene-1,2-dicarboxamide (C,C'-azodi(formamide)); aluminosilicate refractory ceramic fibers...
