EuroChem and Rosneft sign gas supply deal for fertilizers complex

EuroChem (Moscow), Russia’s largest producer of fertilizers and a major player globally, has signed a six-year gas-supply contract with Russia’s energy major, Rosneft (Moscow). Rosneft’s chairman, Igor Sechin; and the general director of EuroChem, Dmitry Strezhnev, signed the contract at the recent International Economic Forum at Saint Petersburg, Russia.   The agreement envisages the supply of 9.84 billion cubic meters of gas to EuroChem’s production facilities through 31 December 2019. “Natural gas is an essential raw material...
