World News and Views :: Top of the News EPA’s Proposed Endocrine List Has Potential Upside for Certain Company Stocks10:01 AM MST | November 17, 2010 | Kara Sissell EPA has released a list of 134 substances that it proposes to screen for potential endocrine disrupting effects. The agency also has proposed draft policies that it will use to order the testing process, minimize duplicative testing, and to promote equitable cost-sharing. Public comments are due December 17. The 134 chemicals include “a large number of pesticides, two perfluorocarbon compounds (PFCs), and three pharmaceuticals (erythromycin, nitroglycerin, and quinoline),” EPA says.
