The findings will provide information to help inform how EPA assesses the safety of chemicals by determining if the current methods used adequately portray possible certain links between levels of exposure and adverse health effects, the agency says. Risk assessments for low-dose effects—or nonmonotonic dose response curves (NMDRC)—for endocrine disruptors have generated considerable differences of opinion...
