EFSA Begins Review of BPA with Focus on Low-Dose Effects

The European Food Safety Authority (EFSA; Parma, Italy) says it has begun work on a scientific assessment of bisphenol A (BPA) that will focus on the potential for adverse health effects from low levels of exposure. EFSA says it will review all available data scientific studies since 2006, when it published its most recent opinion on BPA.
