World News and Views :: Top of the News DuPont and Yingli Sign $100-Million Deal for Photovoltaic Materials10:07 AM MST | February 14, 2012 | Deepti Ramesh DuPont says it has signed a $100-million strategic agreement with Yingli Energy China, a wholly owned subsidiary of leading solar energy company Yingli Green Energy (Baoding, China), for photovoltaic materials, aimed at accelerating the adoption of solar energy to address one of the world's biggest challenges - reducing dependence on fossil fuels. Yingli Green Energy is one of the world's largest vertically integrated photovoltaic manufacturers, DuPont says.
