DuPont and CSX Granted More Time to Resolve Rate Case Dispute

The Surface Transportation Board (STB; Washington) has granted DuPont and CSX’s request to delay until July 10 a procedural schedule concerning three DuPont rate complaints. DuPont has challenged the reasonableness of certain CSX rates for movement of certain commodities, including hazardous materials, STB says. DuPont and CSX have informed STB that they would like the extra time to continue negotiations to try to resolve their dispute, STB says.
