DuPont Expects Sales of $13 billion in Emerging Markets by 2012

DuPont says it has tremendous opportunities for growth in the emerging markets and that the company expects to have sales of about $13 billion in the emerging markets by 2012. Economic recovery is progressing in Brazil, China, and India, where a significant increase in population and globalization are transforming markets, DuPont says. “The economies in these regions are growing significantly faster than developed markets, particularly for the kind of businesses that DuPont is in,” says Thomas M.
