Dow's Earnings Fall on Higher Feedstock Prices (updated)

Dow Chemical’s second-quarter net income dropped 27%, to $762 million (81 cts/share), on sales up 23%, to $16.4 billion. Double-digit price hikes across all operating segments and all geographic areas were not enough to offset rising costs, Dow says....
