Dow to Boost Epoxies Capacity in Germany

Dow Epoxy, a Dow Chemical subsidiary, has announced plans to expand liquid epoxy resin (LER) capacity at Stade, Germany by 30,000 m.t./year. The project is due for completion in the fourth quarter of 2012. Dow did not disclose current capacities for LER at Stade, but it says the expansion will result in an overall 10% increase in the company's worldwide LER capacity.
