Dow posts loss on $1-billion restructuring charge

Dow Chemical reported a fourth-quarter net loss of $716 million, reflecting more than $1.1 billion in restructuring and other charges, compared with a loss of $20 million in the year-ago quarter. Revenues fell 1%, to $13.9 billion on lower prices and flat volume. Adjusted net income, excluding the charges, was $389 million, up 35% from the year-ago quarter. Reported adjusted earnings of 33 ct/share were 1 ct below analyst expectations as reported by Thomson Reuters....
