Dow Boosts Polyols Capacity in Texas

Dow Polyurethanes says it will boost capacity of specialty polyols by 59,000 m.t./year at Freeport, TX to meet “growing demand” in North America. The company did not disclose project costs. “We’re seeing solid growth in all aspects of our business, but are particularly encouraged by growing customer interest in our low-amine emissions polyols, as well as customized systems formulations that offer specific performance benefits in key applications,” says Doug Warner, business/polyols.
