Davy and Dow License Oxo-Alcohols Technology to China; Dow Will Offtake Some of the Product

Davy Process Technology Limited (DPT), a Johnson Matthey company, and Dow Chemical’s oxygenated solvents business have licensed their LP Oxo Selector technology to Wison (Nanjing) Clean Energy Co.,for  an oxo-alcohols plant at Nanjing, China.  Wison Energy will build a plant designed to produce 125,000 m.t./year of 2-ethylhexanol (2EH) and 125,000 m.t./year of butanols.
