DSM to acquire Cargill's cultures and enzymes business for €85 million

DSM says it has reached an agreement with Cargill to acquire Cargill's cultures and enzymes business for a total of €85 million ($110 million) in cash. DSM had announced last month that it was in exclusive discussions with Cargill for the acquisition. The deal is expected to close in the next two months. The cultures and enzymes business of Cargill is a leading global manufacturer of cultures and enzymes for the dairy and meat industries, with manufacturing operations in Wisconsin and France, DSM says.
